The ECD program encompasses the education and skills required to acquire a job and thrive in the Canadian workplace. This is an initiative to support newcomers and second career individuals to learn and prosper in the various sectors in Canada. The much-needed boost of a Canadian Work Experience is also part of this program. A work experience certificate will also be issued at the end of the program.

This training and certification program provides aspirants with the opportunity to acquire detailed knowledge and understanding of food handling procedures and, upon successful completion of the requisite examination, the official Food Handler Certification. Once certified, aspirants can work in the food industry in several key areas, including storing, preparing, cooking, and serving safe-to-eat food. It is the mandatory certification required for entering and/or advancing in the food industry.
